Welcome to the Rape & Sexual Abuse Healing Centre website. We are a counselling service for all women's issues but our field of expertise is rape and sexual abuse. It is a free confidential counselling service and we have 7 counsellors who work at the centre Monday to Friday. We also have a group session on a Monday evening and Tuesday mornings. We also have an educator who is available to work with any groups, organisations, schools to increase awareness and health around rape and sexual abuse.
My name is Sue and I am the Administrator for the centre. I moved to New Zealand from England four years ago and have been with the centre now for three years. I especially enjoy working with people and mostly I will be the first person that you will make contact with. This is my first time working in this enviroment and I will endeavour to make your visit as comfortable as possible with a friendly face behind the desk and welcome all enquiries.
