Anna Bartz  -  PG Cert HSc, BOC, MNZAC

DAPAANZ Registered Practitioner  ACC Registered

I have been counselling at the centre for many years and really enjoy my work here. I have been working as a counsellor over 15 years, and have experience with childhood trauma/abuse, sexual abuse, addiction issues, self-worth, inner child, relationship issues, grief and loss, depression, anxiety and family violence.

I work in a variety of different ways, and can tailor this to what feels most helpful for you.

I am passionate about my work, supporting people to make changes for themselves, and feel incredibly privileged to share and walk alongside this part of their journey with them.

Group process work:

I facilitate a group here at the centre, where group members present the issues they wish to work on. These issues are complex and include past and present situations that are impacting on their lives today. All group members are supported and encouraged to develop inner strengths to enable them to respond differently, thus improving their current quality of life and relationships.

What is a therapeutic Group do?

Group therapy is a powerful tool for growth and change. Individuals meet face to face in a small group to share their struggles and concerns with the facilitation of a group therapist.

Lynette Ringer - Registered Psychotherapist - ACC Registered

Over the past ten years I have counselled in the areas of emotional distress, grief and loss, inner child work, self-awareness, sexual abuse, trauma, relationship and couples issues. I find working with people and watching them come to insightfulness and understanding very rewarding.

Often during childhood, or later on, something can interrupt a person's life and they can become stuck in fixed patterns and/or beliefs about themselves - this can get in the way of experiencing a fulfilling life.

My belief is that in the beginning of healing I hold the torch as we walk together through the darkness and as time progresses you take over holding the torch until finally you are comfortable walking on your own.

Counselling / therapy can help people to:

Catherine O'Kelly - Registered Psychotherapist - ACC Registered

I began my work as a Psychotherapist/Counsellor over 25 years ago. I feel it is such a privilege to be able to say after many years I still enjoy my work.

The reason for this is the respect that I feel for the courage, wisdom and strength of spirit that I have witnessed in the clients that I have worked with. Walking beside others as they travel through their healing journeys and seeing the transformation that takes place is truly rewarding.

At the Centre, therapy is focused on the healing of trauma.

I work in Hamilton and Raglan
